Chenge Celebrates Her Tribe of Queens

December 7, 2020

My great grandmother, Edith Goto
As I get older I realize what an amazing human being she is. She raised me and so many of my cousins, aunts and uncles with so much love and no prospect of getting anything in return. That takes so much strength, patience and love.
Through her I also see the value of hardwork, she has worked for everything she owns and it’s inspiring to see her, in her 90’s sitting in her home, looking back on her life, children, grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is definitely goals!

Evonne Mudzingwa
Eve has been such a positive influence in my life, she gave me my first break back in 2018 and continues to mentor me and give me opportunities to learn and grow as a part of her Wellness Boutique. She doesn’t believe in competition but rather on completion, together we complete each other and there is so much space at the table for all of us. She really inspires me and helps me keep a level head and be patient and consistent. She has been working on Eve’s Wellness Boutique for over 10 years now and assures me that with time, everything will come together if I keep pushing and showing up every single day.

Ivy Kane
My beautiful mother, though distance separates us (she stays in the UK). She has always had my back. Thank God for technology, we communicate daily and update each other on our progress. She continues to strive to make her life better by constant learning and growing, and that really inspires me. I love how she is open minded and challenges me to break from the mould and be the artsy being I am. I absolutely love, adore and respect my mama bear. I’m grateful to have such a supportive mother, and I’d love to do the same for my daughter.

Debi Jeans
She is such a force, I absolutely love her bubbly personality, meeting her has definitely been one of the most defining moments of my life. As I pursue my qualification to becoming an ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Debi has really kept me going. Her work ethic and personality is something I really needed, especially at a time like this where our world has been rocked by the Corona Virus. Now more than ever is it important to take care of people’s health and wellness and we have a responsibility as fitness trainers to walk that journey with people in a motivating and inspiring way. I am so humbled that I get to learn from her and work with her closely. Fate really did her thing here!
